The vendor doesn't publish a fixed per-tool list for this server; the tool groups are described under Setup.

## Setup
- Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http linear-server https://mcp.linear.app/mcp`, then run `/mcp` in a session to sign in. Transport is Streamable HTTP; the interactive flow is OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration.
- Instead of OAuth you can pass an OAuth token or API key as `Authorization: Bearer <token>`.
- Clients without remote support: `npx -y mcp-remote https://mcp.linear.app/mcp`.
- Read-only: use `https://mcp.linear.app/mcp/readonly`, request only the `read` OAuth scope, or use an API key with only the Read permission.

Linear doesn't publish a tool list. Its docs describe tools "for finding, creating, and updating objects in Linear like issues, projects, and comments".


## Limits
- Read-write by default; use one of the read-only options above for agents that should only look.
- One workspace per auth session; each workspace needs its own authentication.
- The `/sse` endpoint is a deprecated fallback.
